This series explores Blackwell, the Arts & Crafts house overlooking Windermere, through a personal and creative lens. Across multiple visits, I’ve photographed both the architectural details and the changing exhibitions within its walls. The work moves between interior and exterior, tracing how light, texture, and reflection shape our experience of this remarkable, yet homely place.
Rather than simple documentation, these images seek to capture atmosphere; the dialogue between craftsmanship and nature, history and presence, revealing the quiet beauty found in pattern, shadow, and surface.
