Collaborations
Stepback is a collaborative photographic project by photographer Dayve Ward and writer Gordon Baddeley, exploring the creative lives of artists and makers in Cumbria. Through evocative images and insightful writing, Stepback reveals the stories, inspirations, and working processes behind those who dedicate their lives to creativity. Combining words and imagery, the project offers a thoughtful, human look at how creative people see, think, and make.
Thoughts
This is a space where I share short reflections on the art and craft of photography, honest reviews of the tools I use, and musings on slow living and creativity among other things. These pieces offer a glimpse into the ideas and experiences that shape my photographic approach,  from exploring new techniques to finding balance in a fast-paced world.
