Floral photography and roaming around gardens is a delight for many people. The peace and calm that develops is good for the soul and relaxes the mind. Floral photography, for me, has these benefits and is the main reason I visit gardens. By making these images I'm capturing some of that essence and it's a good source of inspiration during the winter months.
There's an inherent beauty in flowers, from their intricate structure to their colours. Set in a garden background distils such beauty even more as they combine and complement each other.
