My background is still-life photography. I often create compositions in my studio or find objects on my travels. I'm endlessly fascinated by interesting objects, from their design to their texture as they age and corrode in forgotten drawers. As you can see, my style is fluent; one minute I can be creating clean compositions, reminiscent of my advertising photography background, and the next I'm making more grungy images, which develop as I constantly experiment with form, lighting, composition and ideas. I find still-life photography to be a never-ending interest and source of experimentation.
